Objective
I enjoy being an artist. Modeling and texturing are my favorite. Followed by animation, rigging, and fx. My main purpose is to be a solid part of the team. I seem to have an aptitude for figuring out tricky ideas and making them happen.

Education
· Vancouver Film School Classical Animation diploma 1999.
· AI (Art Institute) 3D animation diploma 2003

Experience
· Senior Modeler. 2010 to present. Rainmaker Entertainment. Modeling and Texturing of characters, sets and props.

· Post Vis Artist. 2009-2010 Image Engine.
I spent a short time helping them catch up on post vis for the twighlight series. I was extended into the rigging department until the work was completed on multiple projects.

· Senior VFX Artist. 2008-2009 (North West Digital FX)
Lead Artist, look development and mentor-ship of junior artists. I had direct interaction with clients on this project and was able to achieve for approvals what the client requested on schedule consistently.

Intro to Maya for Visual FX semester 1 and 2.

3D animation portfolio semester 3. Course outline, mentoring, art direction, scene planning, problem solving and lectures.

Pipe line development and implementation on a show that had elements produced over seas. Look development, production guidelines, limitations and automation of various procedures. Development of procedures and documents for the scripting team to implement into tools. Crowd R&D.

· Lead Environments. Viva PiƱata 2006-2007 (Bardel Entertainment)
Pipe line development, Lighting TD, Environment Key lighting and optimization of sets, Problem solving through direct communication with directors, producers, art department, rigging and Animation lines helping and fixing technical problems.

· Modeling/Lighting. Dragons Fire and ICE 2005-2006 (Bardel Entertainment)
Lighting TD, Responsible for Taking animated scenes through to render.

I started at bardel as an intern doing Uvs. I was then hired on at Bardel and worked as a modeler/texture artist. When modeling was done they kept me on as a lighting TD for the duration of the production.
